The Yoga of Worry

I woke up today worried about the economy, money,  my investments, how safe is my money in the bank…my thoughts were thinking me into a downward spiral. I needed to find a floor, fast. Then I found this little video. So simple! I dare you not to feel better after you play this.

There is a yoga to life; it is the practiced art of lifting yourself up just one small step from wherever you are right now.

Feeling just a little bit better is the biggest step towards being the best person you already are. Find just one little thing that makes you smile.

Some say that your feelings about something are a sign that its manifestation is on the way.

I say that feeling good is the proof that you already manifested what you want. You are a powerful creator. Your feelings are the tools you use to make things happen. Feel it, believe in it, and it appears. The hard work is the hard way; The Law of Attraction is the quantum physics of making things happen, and it is always at work for you.

The yoga of manifestation is in how you use your feelings.  Even when your life looks out of control, your feelings are completely manageable.

How do you find the betterfeeling place of everything you want - especially when money or love is lacking in your life? You find a little something that makes you feel a little better on the subject…and then find another slightly-better-feeling thought…and then another will appear…and another. The small steps add up, and each one counts.

Maybe you can’t go from depressed in one to blissful leap (or maybe you can!). But you always can find small steps up the ladder and arrive at the top of your game; and know that each step is another manifestation of something wonderful in your life.

So smile and look around; feel better a little at a time and know that in doing so, the money, the mate, the magic you want in your life is knocking; it’s  simply time open the door.

I started practicing yoga at age 15, circa 1972 BC: Before Cool. Years later, I became addicted to hot yoga - 26 postures in a room heated to 105 degrees with 40% humidity. The dripping sweat, the scorching heat, the endless loads of laundry. THAT was cool! Today I have a busy modern life as a wife, mother, entrepreneur. What I don't have is back pain, joint problems, I've never even had tooth decay! I have youthful flexibility and straight posture that makes people double-take when I say my age. Yoga can change you right now. You are never too old, too sick, too depressed or too late find out how. The secret of getting the benefits of yoga is simple: just do it.

Actually, the most powerful thing I believe might benefit us is if we just maintain it for a while, is walking…there’s research out there that proves exercising around 30mins 3 days week is more powerful than drugs like Prozac, you have to keep it up for about 6 months without stopping. Having a positive thought process will mostly work, but I know there has to be more to it that will help us actually be able to think properly- chemicals, like happy type chemicals are one thing that will help, and eating better and exercising is what really works for me to stay positive.
